WM Donald refurb fit for Royal approval

Greenwell and WM Donald have a long history of working together and both businesses are focussed on building relationships and supporting other local companies.

So, when WM Donald moved into a new purpose-built two-storey office in Netherley this year, they called in Greenwell’s furniture team to help fit out the new premises, which was officially opened by HRH, The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay.

Working together, they came up with a plan to move the business away from old-style beech desks and grey chairs and inject more life using the companies brand colours.

The premises consist of three large open plan areas, which were fitted with bench-style desk systems, as well as seven individual offices, board room, canteen and reception area.

Ewan Riddoch of WM Donald said:

"The new building is open and bright, so we wanted the interiors and the furniture to complement this and the soft furnishings to reflect the company’s brand. With a walnut feature staircase, we used walnut as a base to run through the rest of the space.

Julie at Greenwell brings a whole new level of energy to a project like this and the fit-out team was fantastic and very obliging, absolutely nothing was a problem for them. The people that we work with is very important to WM Donald and we chose Greenwell for their team and their expertise.”
